As far as i know he is still gigging, and he has a youtube channel where he puts up some of his work.

I never considered him to be any more than just an average singer and a pretty awful songsmith.
Georgie Fame however was an excellent writer, musician, singer and performing artiste. Bonnie and Clyde was legendary

Each to their own - Georgie Fame yes, different calibre but for me Alan was good at what he did - so there
