A visit to the carpet shop today. Sheila has suddenly decided she wants new carpet in our living room before Christmas..........she be lucky !

Morning Alan, awful weather around here. Not doing to well myself as i collapsed on Saturday, and now have a lot of pain in my legs, so getting around is a bit of a strain.

Still it stops me spending money

Good morning all, the wind has eased again but a wet day forecast yet again...

We are having a new drive laid by our eldest son starting today, so it will be bedlam for a few days I reckon. I really wanted to leave it until spring when there would be chance of better weather but was overruled, I just hope we don't end up swimming in mud.....

Good morning all. It is a cold morning here in Scotland - the car looks to be covered in frost (from what I can see out the window) so I'll have to start it and let it warm up for 15-20 minutes before going anywhere.

Big day today, but I'm feeling prepared.
