Good morning all, a hard frost out there at the moment but a decent forecast for the day and warming up again tonight.

We have visitors arriving today for an informal birthday lunch for Mrs P's brother, who is 75.

I’m thinking I ought to get the horticultural fleece wrapped round my big plants today – especially my Cordyline & Camelia. I’d hate the frost to kill them.

I really have to do something constructive today be it in the house or not. Been far too lax lately.

Weather is cold but there isn't any wind. Time to jog before noon as after the sun shifts position making the room I'm in darker and it puts me right off.
