Thursday thread

Well, the storms have passed and it is a lovely day. I'm looking forward to getting out - the dog and I are both a bit stir-crazy from yesterday. I wonder if there will be branches down in the wood - there was some wild wind and very heavy rain.
I don't think I have any news to impart. I'm looking forward to our little break at easter but not looking forward to 'boxing up' the cats and sending them off to the cattery

Re: Thursday thread

If they are together and have done it before, they probably won't be too bothered and might even enjoy seeing the other cats in there and 'swopping looks and poses'

Lovely and sunny here in the flat plains of Essex

Re: Thursday thread

Morning all

It started off frosty here but is now glorious sunshine. I am taking Pip into town for a bit of socialisation today. We were going yesterday but it was so cold we postponed it.

I need to get the hoover out today, Pip makes a very good shredder but it doesn't go into a little container!

I hope you have a good break DM and that the cats settle in well at the cattery.

Have a good day all.

Re: Thursday thread

Hi, all. Shaping up to be a spell of gorgeous unseasonably June-like weather here: 15 C (59 F) already at 11 am, blue skies, no wind. But further North they're having terrible flooding after the torrential rains, worst in 200 years, The weather this year on both sides of the Pond has been so bizarre, I suppose it is climate change ...??? No errands today so spent the morning in the garden planting bulbs (baby glads and babiana) and still bamboo whacking. All but 3 of my seedlings are up now. Leia is enjoying the milder weather and is happy to have the porch door open; I'm happy not having to play doorman!

Happy April Fool's day, don't get caught!

Re: Thursday thread

Evening all-Been a good day-Hatti had a bladder x-ray today as she is still having problems, but the good news is that there are no bladder stones or anything else untoward going on, so carrying on with the antibiotics for 2 weeks then see how she is then. Spent most of the day at work with Hatti and meeting my potential replacement and showing her what I do. Will know tomorrow if they are going to appoint her. Said if they did I could leave earlier than 30 April, but they didn't go for that......

Wishing Dinahsmum and anyone else going away this Easter a lovely weekend and hope the weather is kind to you.........
