Hull Police ploy

"Police are using life-size cardboard cut-outs of police officers in an attempt to deter shoplifters in Hull.

The cut-outs, which cost £100 each and are made with blown-up photographs of real officers, are being delivered to city centre stores."

I think they'll find they're not cut out for the job.

That was done a few years ago in stores in Glasgow - it was supposed to have worked!! Not sure if they still do that though!
