I am strangely Happy

Whilst there are many that will dislike Katie and what she stands for the article below is worth a read

In a world of misery - and at my darkest moment - the flashes of incredible kindness that gave me hope for us yet.

Face smashed, teeth wobbly and lips the size of a Kardashian’s, I am strangely happy.

I read through the article solo, and saw the picture, but I couldn't find any reference to what happened? All it was saying is about her thanking everyone for helping.

Oh. I never saw any mention of that Meg? I thought perhaps she'd either been run over or mugged. Thankyou.

p.s. Just seen it right at the bottom, I hadn't read that last bit.

Mups it is in a small sentence in the article and why I posted the story

And my own weakness, epilepsy, which sent me crashing to the floor face-first, serves as a reminder not to fixate on the bad. Sometimes we need to focus on the good.

Re: I am strangely Happy

I cringe every time someone says they have fallen.
Having fallen twice in 6 months earlier this year I
feel every crunch for others. I cant even watch
You've Been Framed now.

Terrible when you fall and getting older it seems to
hurt more than when you were a child.
I fell on my back and then on my left rib so I didn't
show anyone my bruises as they were covered up so
I do feel sorry for you ladies falling on your face.

Not one of the ways we fall is good so hope everyone
feel better soon. I used Witchhazel to bring my
bruises out. It stops the pain and as long as the skin
is not open is a old fashioned thing but still good today.

Take care all the snow and ice are on their way and I
for one am not going to be as adventurous as I was
this last Winter.

Re: I am strangely Happy

All those nice people just goes to show people will help, feel sorry for her being out in public for all to see.

A fall can be so much more, mine 2 years ago has left me still with scars across my face, which are fading but no feeling in my nose as yet and a bad leg.

But everything is positive compared to what happens in the world.
