What should I call my new house?

I'm tossing up between two options for a name for my new house.
1. Swallow House - because there is a swallow's nest there
2. Ericromana - an anagram of my parents' names

Which would you choose?

I like 'Swallow House', Ania.
The sentiment behind the other one is understandable, but its a bit of a mouthful to say IMO.

If you do choose 'Swallow House', may I suggest you have a look at this website to get a nice Swallow house or gate sign made:

They do rather a nice swallow picture in the 'Bird' designs, and they're nice people to deal with too. I've tried to post the picture to show you, but couldn't for some reason, so you'll need to find it yourself on their website.

I have just got a very nice Bedlington sign made for my house, and also a Bedlington wind chime for my birthday present to me next month.

Being a fan of birds Swallow House for me. But im sure you will pick the one you want.

Are you sure it was a swallow and not a house-martin ?

I knew a couple who were Sally and Frederick ... they called their house SalFred, now how imaginative is that ?

"Swallow's nest" (Or "Swallow's rest") sounds good..

Near where I used to live was a house with the great name of "Diddy Bones Knap", and another called more simply "The Whim".

Quite a few Gaelic names round here... I would call my house "Tigh an Lis"
ie "The house of mischief".
