My first was Showboat with Howard Keel, Ava Gardner Kathryn Grayson.

I remember crying my eyes out when they left her on the dock as the
boat sailed away. Didn't understand the story as it was only 1951.

Mandy. I remember this because being the double of the girl Mandy Miller in the film it was quite eerie seeing yourself on screen

Hi

My first proper film was the Sound of Music, taken by the Nuns as a school trip.

Saturday mornings at the local cinema before that, Roy Rogers, Tonto etc.

'Dumbo', when I was aged two! Dad took me to give mum a rest as she'd just given birth to my brother!

I remember my parents taking me to see 'The Wizard of Oz' and being scared to death by the 'Wicked witch of the North'.

Cant remember, but it would probably have been some cowboy film as the Saturday matinée usually had a fair share of them alongside Laurel and Hardy / Keystone Cops / Zorro / or Flash Gordon type support.

The first film I saw was Rock Around The Clock. The cinema I watched the film in was known locally as The Bug Hut.

The first film I saw was a primary school trip to see "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Must have been round about 1947.
