George Alagiah

BBC newsreader is returning to work after time off due to cancer. Will be glad to see him back, one of a few who does his job well and does not sound like a chat show host.

I love him too - I had been googling for news of him a few weeks ago but nothing, I was dreading to see news he had died, so pleased that he is better and going to be on TV again.

Thats very good news ,I wasnt aware that Nick Robinson was ill either hope they both improve in leaps and bounds and we see them both back to health very soon

I have seen Nick Robinson on TV a few times of late and not knowing he has been ill wrongly assumed his loss of voice was down to a bad cold.
He seems to be coping very well

It will be good to see George Alagiah back on the screen following his recovery from bowel cancer, I think he is one of the best news readers, a lovely man...
