Beware of aircraft overhead

I could hardly believe this when I read it in the paper today.

Apparently an elderly couple heard a big bang, rushed outside thinking there had been an accident, but what he found was smashed roof tiles laying in the road and a hole of about 3 ft x 2 ft in his roof.

It turned out it was frozen toilet waste from a passing jet plane 30,000 ft overhead! They reckon if it had hit someone it would have killed them.
The homeowner has triple- bagged it and put it in his freezer for the Insurance claim.

Can this really happen do you think?

Oh yes, it can happen. You hear of the odd 'blue ice' whacking a great big hole through someone's roof once in a while.

Luckily, I think it is covered by house insurance, though I've no idea why it's called blue.

Good grief. I didn't know whether to believe it or not.

Agh, don't think I'd fancy keeping it in my freezer!

It gets better ..... can anyone remember earlier in the year when, I think it was in the US.
Loads of people rang in about the beautiful celestial trail in the night sky.

It was astronaut waste from the space station entering earths atmosphere.
Seriously... I kid you not.
