Christmas - the happy version

I don't think Docholiday was being serious in his thread, so here is the official happy version

And will kick start it by quoting Julie's post

Thanks for that Azz was confused why I could not get into the other post.

I love going around the Christmas markets been checking online to see what dates they are on around the Gloucestershire area. There is of course the Worcestershire one to go to as well which is usually better.

Re: Christmas - the happy version

I dont care what you call it a winter festival or Christmas.I still love it.

A little light and festivity in the dark winter months is nice.
If people dont want to get too wrapped up in the commercialism I understand that and they dont have too.

I love the Christmas markets I like the atmosphere and the noise I dont buy much, its a bit like the fun fair I love walking round seeing all the flashy rides and the music but Id never go on the rides..

Christmas is exactly what each of us choose to make it..

Re: Christmas - the happy version

For the last couple of years Ive used the PNP (portable north pole) to send personalised greeting from Santa to my grandchildren...

My granddaughters face was a picture where she saw Santa say her name!

A bearded gent who lets me sit on his knee, asks me what I'd like and showers me with presents!
Oh happy me!

It surely is!
I choose to enjoy it.
The Christmas trees, the Christmas snow, the Christmas lights, the decorations, the mistletoe, the classic Christmas movies, and the cheer - happy people, great food, and some lovely booze!
We live far away from our family, but the two of us still have a great time together.

Thanks Cass for that PNP video. It's a super idea, and I'll be using it!
I found the link if anybody is interested:

Cheers!
