A welcome gift

My neighbour brought me a bag of Howgate Wonder apples earlier

He does the same each year and I have been dreading it because he always waits till the wind has blown them off onto the ground and they are bruised and full of grubs.
I then have to discreetly dispose of them

This year he has picked some they are crisp and tasty and I am a happy neighbour

Lovely Meg

Last week I was given some home grown tomatoes and some apples (don't know the variety but they are pink when you bite into them) .... both absolutely delicious
