Happy Thursday Folk.

"Don'tjump!" Taken on the IoM.
Yesterday was quite a productive day. I got my computer fixed (For the second time this week), I stripped my last apple tree, a Golden Delicious, and got 8 buckets of excellent quality apples and I booked 2 holidays for next summer, Guernsey and Dubrovnik. I'm well satisfied !

Must admit I found Dubrovnik old city fascinating. Wonder if it has changed much over the years since I was there.

Alan - I'm glad you had a productive day - I'm wondering if there's any advantage to booking your next years holiday so early? Do you get a discount?

I'm off on a Peak District ramble today. Lately it's been an effort doing long walks so we've shortened them now - we rarely do more than six miles.

I booked with Thomson and they told me that I had £140 discount on the holiday but they could say anything, how am I to know the truth of the matter. We did get the holiday with half board and a sea-view room with balcony for less than I paid for B&B in Italy this year so I'm happy with it.

My son is coming for lunch today. He and the family are off on holiday to Cyprus for a week so I won't see them next week.
