Re: Moors and Christians in Crevellente

Thank you all. I only took my little camera, which isn't wonderful in the dark, but the costumes are quite something else. Because it was a 50th anniversary the procession began with 50 Kings and Queens, the costumes were absolutely beautiful, the routines are very professional and the bands are wonderful, especially the drums. This particular procession began at 6.30 p.m. and the last group came through around 10 p.m. Always a wonderful atmosphere and everyone so friendly.

They turned out well seeing as you used a little camera.

I would have loved it there, what a spectacle!

Hi Clumsy

Love all the Spanish festival pictures, they make this countries evenings look so cold and miserable.
When the old Age Concern Forum was in existence we had a lady poster who lived in Spain and posted many of the pictures. Her posting name was "Mzungu" , anybody remember her?

Great photos Clumsy. So colourful. I particularly like the one with the row of armoured soldiers.

Lovely photos - wonderful costumes. Went there in January, but no parades then unfortunately.
