John Lennon born 9th October 1940

Cant believe John would 75 years old today.
When I was 16 I went to see my first concert
and it was the Beatles in Leeds
It cost me 5/6d for the ticket
Couldn't imagine in those days
how big the Beatles and John would become.
Happy Birthday John I am sure you are making
music wherever you are now.

Yep - great songwriter and for me, along with George the best of the talent of the Beatles - their music will last forever ............

John was always my favourite Beatle and his musical talents were great but, for me, his greatest asset was his mind and I would have given anything to spend a day with him discussing his beliefs and thoughts. I think he often expressed his emotions in his music and the words of "Imagine" gives an ideal situation that I am sure we would all like to live with.
