A Kilogramme weight

Could someone give me an example of an item that would weigh around this amount ............

A litre of water's
A pint and three quarters
A metre is about three feet three
It's longer than a yard you see !

Patsy it's equivalent to a couple of lbs.

Patsy;

Take a 1963 Morris 1000 saloon - with no extras! Place it on a coalman's weighing machine on the back of his lorry.

Now take 37 standard pavement slabs, and place them on the other side of the coalman's weighing machine.

The difference is about one kilogram.
