Happy Saturday Folk.
As you may have seen in my other 'grumpy' thread I have my cataract operation within sight. It will have taken just 2 weeks from enquiring about it to getting it done. With the NHS it was going to be nearly a year. Realist says not to go down the 'private patient' path, I say if you can afford it go for it.

Good morning all, no fog here yet so chance of another warm day ahead
More diy for me this morning, putting up a new mirror and cabinet in the bathroom and then continuing to help my neighbour to put the roof onto his new shed.

Good morning - A bit of gardening would be a good thing to do today. A tidy up before the weather changes.A walk to the shops and back this morning.
There's a 'cider and food' event happening in the Community Centre this afternoon. Might look in there.
One of the grandchildren has just turned 18, so we're hosting a family get-together and meal tonight. Should be lively.
Rode 12 miles on my bike yesterday. The CT scan went like CT scans do. Didn't get home from that until 6.50 p.m.
