LED light bulbs

I am in the process of changing all my incandescent bulbs for LED ones.
They are quite an expensive outlay initially but cost hardly anything to run owing to the very low power consumption and have an incredibly long life..
Anyone else making the change ?

Re: LED light bulbs

I replaced the halogens in my kitchhen with 3 Watt LEDs from B&Q - about £3 each. Really good light.

Still gauging the light and performance from those at work but in our next home I think we'll go for them. stevmk2

Re: LED light bulbs

We made the change two years ago we went from having a house that if all the lights were on, used an incredible 1,500wts to less than 100 !

We used to have 25wt halogens in spot lights now we have 3wt led but the lighting is the same.

You can even get filiment type LED now for that retro look..
