Mornin all, . . I was up too late last night watching Deadwood, . . that's a great series, Ian McShane deserved an oscar for his performance, . . anyways, have a safe one and look out for the potholes, . . they're so bad up here we'll need a hovercraft soon.

Afternoon, Denis The council sent men up last week to fill in the holes created by the last fall of snow - and, guess what, those holes are back again! Instead of giving us new road surfaces, the council squander money by sending up cowboys to fill in the holes!

Still snow lying here as well, although it is bright enough today and last two days were lovely and sunny!

Tell me about it, . . our council got a crew in to resurface our street last year, . . they made a pure mess of it, . . 3 weeks later the councils own crew had to do the thing over again, . . I wonder if we got a refund ?

Every morning, I do the "pothole slalom" down the road near my house. Think they might make it an Olympic event?

Raw, chilly day here, 2 degrees (36F), but at least as it's above freezing, no snow! Just drizzle, depressing, but could be worse. Planned no errands because of the weather, Just the usual chores and pottering this morning.

Potholes bad here too!
