Purple Sauce

While staying at a Premier Inn i had their new purple sauce with my full english breakfast and it was really great sauce.
Have any of you tried this sauce ? They are only having it for six month then its gone forever i helped myself to a few sachets to take home. Such a shame you can't buy it in the shops.☺

Re: Purple Sauce

It's an abomination to put any sauce on a full english, and it's about time this practice was outlawed and those found to be adulterating their sausage and bacon to be treated severely by the courts, and banned from partaking of porcine delights for life....

Re: Purple Sauce

I don't imagine I'd fancy it, the colour is enough to put me off, I've never eaten, drank or smoked anything purple in me life and I'm not starting now.

Ooooooooooooooooooooo I have!
When I was young and foolish I sometimes smoked Sobranie cigarettes, thought I was being terribly posh, and I remember there were purple ones in the box!

Re: Purple Sauce

If I have spent time cooking a tasty meal and you even thought of slapping stuff like that on..the plate would have been whipped away quicker that you could say Purple sauce.

Re: Purple Sauce

Doesn't sound like a sauce I would like not a fan of chilli but can't beat fruity brown sauce on vegetarian sausages and eggs, mushrooms and toast.
