How long before we have lots of little old ladies covered in tatoos?

The one thing I love about working with elderly people is the humour and the hidden past lives that surface as you talk to them..

One lady was 87 when she got her coclear implant and during speech therapy anytime she didnt know a word she said something filthy..It was hilarious..
Another admired my tattoo and said she wished she had been brave enough to do it herself..
I never underestimate them..

When a young girl my sister had a yellow rose tattooed on her bottom , we laughed when I saw her again recently and she wandered past me in a towel , now the yellow rose looks like a large sunflower .

I know a couple of 70 year olds who only started getting inked in their 60's ! Never been a fan myself but I did think how brilliant they still had a bit of get up and go - sadly it took them to the tattoo parlour but at least they have some.

I guess you won't be able to tell what the pictures are once they are obscured by wrinkles ...

Sheesh! it's bad enough having to endure needles/injections in surgery or dental work without deliberately putting Myself through the torture of tattoos....I'd def' gerrup and go...fast ;~)

We see lots of "older" ladies here with tattoos, I must admit it isn´t often a pretty sight.
