Prices

Whilst shopping today I came across some price tags that stated the price of the item followed by the word 'points' like this ...... £4.29 or 429 points ... one in Boots and another one on a restaurant menu, what's all that about ?

Re: Prices

If you have a boots card you can collect points when you have enough you can buy things so they tell you on the ticket how much cash or how many points you need to buy it.

I use mine to by extras to put with Christmas presents - make bags with lace etc then buy little soaps to put in them that sort of thing.

Ah yes - it means you can pay with cash or store points. You collect points by having a loyalty card swiped every time you make a purchase. This means if you've got 429 or more points on your loyalty card you don't need cash - just give them your loyalty card and pay with your points.
I've currently got about £18 worth of points at Boots - I think this is because Tony had a new electric shaver from there... I've also go over £20 at Sainsbury's.

They really come in handy.

Re: Prices

You use the stores that don't do the Loyalty card then?
I'm surprised.
