Monday March 1st

Pinch, punch, first of the month ..... surely 'Things Can Only Get Better' now - or maybe we have to wait to see the back of Gordon Brown before the weather improves - he appears to be responsible for all ails according to some people.

Quite a nice morning here but the forecast says cold again at the end of the week. That would be because I changed from the 'winter extreme' duvet to the 'fairly cold' duvet yesterday

Have a good day, everyone

Good morning to all! The sun is shining here in beautiful Milton Keynes for the first time in ages.

Well, Uncle Dave says he'll get everything sorted out once he's elected PM, so we'll just have to wait and see .

Afternoon all - yes it does look like Spring has finally sprung, I can actually see grass on the other side of our valley, it's not exactly green but it will be

DM do you know the 'Tog' number for the winter extreme duvets, they are the ones I want in my motorhome and i can't find any reference to the tog numbers and the people who make them want me to specify a tog number

It's forecast to reach 61 today with dry weather. Spring is just around the corner as the evidence is obvious with flowering dogwood and cherry trees. Oregon is famous for their cherries so the pink bloom are everywhere. Time to grab my camera again and simply take a walk.

Re: Monday March 1st

Losos - the very warm duvet for very cold conditions is a 15Tog one
Standard British 'winter weight' used to be 13.5 but many are now 12, as people keep their houses warmer.
Good luck with the motorhome duvets - I'd go for the bestest down ones you can find; they'll keep you, well, snug as an eider in down
