Congratulations to Canada

I just finished watching the gold medal game in hockey as the last event in the 2010 Olympics. It was an amazingly exciting contest that took overtime to decide. Both teams are to be commended.

I don't normally watch or follow ice hockey either but I do enjoy sport and a good contest so this game in particular was exciting to watch.

Well done Canada - I occassionaly watch ice hockey on TV over here, the one thing you can say about the players is that they are no softies, over here they regularly bash the opposing team players over the head with the hockey stick and then get stuck into a punch up. All our so called hero footballers wouldn't last five minutes!!!
