I enjoyed watching 'On the Buses' with Stephen Lewis and Reg Varney back in the 70's, always good humour

A mum that I know took her little son to the Bluebell Railway some years back. Who should they bump into but Blackey himself. The little boys' eyes lit up, and he pointed to him.

Stephen, bless his heart, came over to him, screwed his face up in that inimitable way and said, 'Aren't you supposed to be driving a bus?'

RIP. Another comic hero has faded away...
