Good morning all, the sun is just rising over the bottom of the garden and it looks like being a grand day and a bit warmer hopefully.
Tesco shopping first thing for us and then we will be excitedly awaiting the arrival of our neighbour's new puppy this afternoon, a chocolate coloured cockerpoo named Reggie .... let the mayhem commence...

Going (mostly window) shopping in Manchester city centre. It's ages since I bought any new clothes, and much of what I have seems to have become rather scruffyI'll be doing two cliches; looking for smart casual without becoming mutton dressed as lamb
I remember years ago I went on a conference with work. One of the speakers was a Danish engineer. He wore cord trousers, a roll neck sweater and a leather jacket, and looked smarter than the rest of us in suits. So I'll be trying the posh shops around Deansgate & St Anne's Square looking for Scandinavian suppliers; I've already done my homework on the Net
That includes an Ecco footwear shop
Will also look at trail shoes, though the ones I have will probably last the rest of this summer

Good morning everybody. I’m waiting in all morning for the technician from ‘Furniture Village’ to come look at the fault that has appeared in my leather settee. The insurance is only for ‘accidental’ damage and they refused to pay up. I’m hoping the manufacturer will help me… it’s only two years old.Hoping to go for a swim with my daughter this afternoon.
