I think they are the most degrading garments ever designed Doc and I'll be glad to see the back of them, if you'll pardon the pun.

Our local hospital suggest people bring their own clean dressing gown with them, the gowns are really only now used for emergencies or people who forget their own clothes.

Re: Awful Hospital Gowns

The last time I was in the hospital having a scan (about 8 years ago) I had to put one of the horrible things on and wait in a room with 4 other old fellas, there we were all covered up to the neck like big babies waiting to be fed when one would be called into the scanning room and all you saw was a big hairy bum with two strings hanging down, God I was praying I would be the last one out of that room. Funny when I think of it now.

Re: Awful Hospital Gowns

I had to put one of those gowns on last year for my cancer breast
op. My Tommy Cooper comedy event happened when they said
put this on It was a blue thing and I thought O Yes its one of those
blue hats they put on in the Theatre for their hair.
So I said Oh I didn't know I had to put a hat on in Theatre
The Nurse just laughed and said Oh No its not a Hat
Its your disposable knickers

Re: Awful Hospital Gowns

Sometimes you are given two, so one can be worn the normal way round, over the back to front one. I had both recently, when I had the colonoscopy.
