What a miserable day it was yesterday, wet and cold for the time of year. We had our gas fire on in the evening, I've never known us to have to do that in July before. So Froome took the honours in the Tour de France, tough guys these cyclists !

A deluge here too Alan and continuing today, I think we can safely say the garden has now been watered...

Good morning everyone, nothing planned other that food shopping and I'm cooking shepherd's pie, some for lunch and some for the freezer.

Good morning everybody. We’ve had rain in the night – it’s a bit chilly too. No wonder our weather is open for endless discussion!
It doesn’t seem at all like July – come back summer!!

I’m off to an aerobics class at my local leisure centre this morning. I just found out about it the other day. it’s 9.30am – 10.30am so I can do a class and still be back in time to have my toddler grandson Josh at 11.0’clock.

Good morning fellow members another wet day after continuous rain yesterday but I am not complaining, the gardens are looking so much better.
The artemisia and bears breeches which I cut back have grown inches in days and I will have another meal of runner beans ready today.

I have the 3 little ones tomorrow so am going to do some baking in preparation for a picnic in the garden if the rain stops.

buenas dias all. Can someone please send us a deluge of rain, it would be very welcome. We are on a red alert day again temperatures expected to hit over 40C again and according to reports we´ve just had the hottest night since 1976. I haven´t known it to be so hot for so long here in 15 years. We will be off to the airport later today as my son and his wife return to UK, I think they are looking forward to feeling chilly again, at least for a day ! Have a lovely day all.
