Taken in Wernigerode in Germany. This chap calls himself the 'nightwatchman' and takes tourists on evening walks around the town.
Today I'm going to be busy boiling beetroot and putting it into pickling jars.

Good morning everyone, overcast here and rain forecast for later, so we'll be walking the dogs first thing then doing some shopping.

My beets aren't ready yet Alan, but I tend to make chutney out of the surplus as I'm not a fan of it pickled.

Good morning all been raining here since the early hours so I won't need to water the garden this evening.

My SIL is picking me up at 9:00am to take Cassie to the Cattery. It's a different one as our usual one closed down at Christmas so I hope she will settle in ok.

Mornin' all. A dull old morning, looks like rain is imminent.
I feel a bit lazy this morning, not enough sleep I think.
Oh well, better get moving. Got to see the solicitor at 11.

Good morning everyone ... I haven’t got much planned for today. This afternoon I’m going for a swim with my daughter Sue. We’ve both tried to persuade my hubby Tony to come with us. I’m convinced swimming would be good for his poor arthritic knees but he won’t be persuaded.

Ah well – he’s promised to make a start on clipping the hedge. If he does a bit a day it will get done eventually…
