Re: Just beyond me
My daughter has already started buying 'back to school' items and she asked me only today to look out for some age 15 school trousers for my grandson (who is 12 but tall!). They always go away on holiday the first two weeks of August and she has found that by leaving it until after the holidays most of the necessary school clothes are out of stock when they come back, then it's panic stations looking for the items she needs.Re: Just beyond me
Its like everything significant now has to be planned for months and months ahead of time, but surely if people wernt buying these things then there would be no call for them to be in the shops, even when there are christmas things in the shops say in August it doesnt mean I have to buy them,I only ever buy things for christmas in December and always will.Re: Just beyond me
Well Grace starts her new school September we are getting her stuff gradually, started a few weeks ago, if we had to do it all in one go we would need a mortgage, so we like the back to school stuff being in the shops early, earlier the better really. Especially uniform, her summer hat alone is £22 and her winter one £25 ! I nearly fainted in the shop
