Underactive Thyroid.

I have all the symptoms of an underactive thyroid hypothyroidism I believe.

Difficulty losing weight,
very dry skin
feeling tired
feeling cold
nails flaky and not strong.

I have been to the doctor and she says after blood tests that my thyroid is borderline and of course those symptoms are also the symptoms of someone getting older.

I have started to take kelp which I believe is helping it contains iodine which helps the thyroid gland.

Hope the iodine helps. Wish I could help you more but I know little about that problem.
