The Brittas Empire

I see that the BBC are going to bring back The Brittas Empire, possibly as a Christmas Special to start with. It has always been said, never go back to popular shows as they never seem the same. But quite frankly it has nothing much to compete against with the poor comedy shows these day, so anything is welcome.

Are they making it anew - or just re-runs?

I am hoping for reruns because they couldn't do it better than they did.

At the moment it is going to be new. It may only be a Christmas Special. Also there is no mention of the other actors.

Couldn't agree more Arthur, was a great series, I really liked the gentle mocking of all these PC team building socio types with 'ologist' after their name

Re: The Brittas Empire

Hi Mups,
There was a long cast list, but amongst the more famous ones were:

Chris Barrie - Gordon Brittas
Pippa Haywood - Helen Brittas
Mike Burns - Colin
Harriet Thorpe - Carole the receptionist
Julie St John - Laura

Hope that helps a bit to jog the memory.
