Val Doonican has died at the age of 88. My favourite song of his was Paddy mcGinty's Goat. Lovely gentle man.

Sorry to hear that, I grew up listening to Val Doonican, my mum loved him and I bought her several of his albums for Christmas and birthdays etc. He sang some beautiful songs over the years, and such a nice personality. RIP Val...

Val hooligan as he was affectionally know in our family, me mother loved him, he was a county Waterford man, walk tall in heaven Val me boy.

Always watched the Val Doonican Show ,enjoyed his relaxed attitude , sitting in his Rocking chair singing like he was on the Porch at home .
