We all have bad luck sometimes what about this?

Just read an article about a lady in California.
She was pregnant and went into labour so what
would you ladies do?
She was early so decided to go to her parents house.
Trying to get there in a not very lived in area, she
ran out of petrol and decided to walk the rest of the way.
She then got lost walking through a forest
Her baby started coming along and she had to
deliver the baby by herself in the forest. She
had no phone by the looks of it.
As the DAYS passed and not hours. She was
attacked by bees and insects and still no one
came. So she decided after 3 days that she
couldn't go on any longer and started a small fire
to attract attention Unfortunately, she set off a
forest fire and set the whole side of the mountain on fire.
Luckily this alerted the Forest Rangers who eventually
came to die out the fire as well as rescue this lady and
her premature baby girl called Marisa. Bless.
Her Mother later said that if she hadn't set the place on
fire she would never had been found.
I am sure the inventor of the telephone Alexander Graham Bell would have begged this lady to use it before she set off in such a mad adventure and danger to her and her child.

She learnt a few Life lessons there , not to be repeated hopefully..
We have to remember even if she had a Mobile , there might not have been a good signal .

I did think of that as she was in the woods but before that as she was driving, pull over, use the phone. Maybe battery ran out or maybe she 'couldn't see the phone for the trees'

I am presuming there was no husband or partner on the scene since she chose to go to her parents. Surely someone would have been worried, in the late stages of pregnancy and nobody hears from her or tries to contact her. Very odd.

What a terrible run of bad luck, wouldn't surprise me if she gets the bill for the damage the fire caused.

For one thing, I doubt a woman dumb enough to do what she did, would be bright enough to know how to start a fire from scratch!
