shopping in aldi last week -walked thro the door with a o.a.p he had a large bag 'he went straight up to the tomatoes and sorted them'not takin to much notice he put quite a few in hes trousers pocket ' i just walked away smiling -this man muuust be early 80s ' he then goes to the veg' broke open the onions and into hes bag they went ' now there is cameras in all stores ime thinking here ' as i stood and watched him he stood a while in a que then walked off calmly out the door ... would you have shopped the man ..i just thort he will get caught sooner than later ...............
No I don't think I would have told, sounds like he has dementia of some sort as real career shoplifters would never behave like that. Sometimes we have to forgive and I hope the shop would on occasions like that.

I wouldnt "shop" him.....I agree ,maybe he has the early signs of dementia or maybe he just doesnt have the money ...we really dont know how some people live do we?
We have an old gent in our local supermarket that does the same. The cashiers all know him and know how to deal with him, they just ask gently if he has forgotten the things in his bag.
