Time to change the clocks again

Last weekend was the 'mirror image' of the weekend we changed the clocks in the autumn - the same number of weeks from the shortest day
So why haven't we changed the clocks back???? Why aren't we geting an extra hour per day of 'useable daylight'? Grrr.

Re: Time to change the clocks again

I am not looking forward to the clocks changing. Pip starts screaming at 6.30 am, it will be 5.30 am in a few weeks.

The plus side is the lighter evenings.

Doesn't make much sense really, does it, DM? Sunrise here is now 6:55 and sunset 5:50.

But don't you think it should be NOW? Either last Saturday or tonight?

We go over to our summer hours on 1st March at work which means we work an hour longer, we hate it midweek when there is no-one about but the weekends its hard to shut the centre sometimes because people don't want to go home.

The winter time change is essential for northerners, . . I remember the government tried to leave summertime as standard many years ago and it was a disaster up here, . .

I hadn't thought about you Northerners, Nero, but have always wished we'd stay on Summer time all year round.
