Womens World Cup

We have done well and yet it has not been televised
Or - have I missed the station it is on
I'd like to see the final - will I be able to ?

Re: Womens World Cup

I really cannot imagine why any woman would want to play football - it is so unfeminine.

OK - I'll go and climb back into the fossil box!

I've been watching the England games at work on the BBC, and must commend them for excellent coverage of the women's world cup!

I feel the same way !
I've resisted taking a look at it for that reason when I heard about the World Cup - I was keen to take a look, I have never seen the women play - I could switch off in 10 minutes
But I'm hoping its a game of 'skill' and not like the mens game
Womens boxing - is outrageous to me

Re: Womens World Cup

I think the ladies play a lot better than the men, they seem to have more strategy and have an eagerness about them. Good Luck to them all

Re: Womens World Cup

I am very impressed with the women playing my favorite game. They are as much, or more, worth watching as the men.

Good to hear - I'd love to see them running around with 'limp wrists' though - would be fun
As long as they're not too butch, I'll watch it
