Happy Sunday Folk.

Taken on the island of Sark in the Channel Islands.
We are seriously in need of rain here in Kettering, in the last two months we've only had a couple of decent lots of rain.

Good morning everyone.

Raining here at the moment Alan but still hardly enough for the garden.

My eldest daughter is visiting us this morning and the rest of the day will be spent just pottering around doing odd jobs and reading the papers I imagine.

Good morning everyone,

Love the picture Alan, as soon as I saw it I knew it was Sark, its beautiful. The only other place I have known taxis only by horse drawn was on the island of Spetsae in Greek Islands where in the 70s there were only five vehicles on the island except for the lorries arriving on the boats to offload at the Dapia the main Port.

Hi Moyra, we're going to Guernsey for a week in August and I'm intending to go across to Sark again. I could easily go and live there if it wasn't for my children living here in Kettering (well, two of them).

buenas dias all. Very hot here, forecast for 39C and above today, much too hot to do much so it will just be a tidy round and doing nothing much sort of day. We are eating out later with friends, which is nice, but that´s it for today.......I think.

My last day of cat sitting. Off home later. It's been fine other than the dead bird gifts. Wee souls.
