Madeira looking over Funchal.
Off up to Mansfield today to see our relatives. We had our first homegrown tomatoes yesterday, one each and they were about as big as gobstoppers. Still, they were tasty.

We are off to Derby this afternoon for a memorial service for my late sister in law, who died in May.

I am in a lot of pain this morning must take some ibuprofen. Then must get Amber out and walked. No peace for the wicked.

buenas dias all. I had a sleepless night, no reason other than I was probably over tired, doesn´t happen often fortunately. It´s very hot again, nothing new there. I´m at war with a mosquito today, the sneaky little monster got me 3 times on my backside of all places even though I had pjs on. I learnt whilst in Kenya that clothes are no deterrent to the sneaky things, they just bite through them. No particular plans today, just potter around and do what I feel like doing. Have a nice day all.
