Pufflings !

Spent today at the RSPB centre on Bempton Cliffs. It is the height of the breeding season for sea birds. I do not have a powerful camera, just a a small digital Canon. A very kind man who had a telescope focused on these pufflings and allowed me to try and take a photo through his telescope - this is the rather fuzzy result. Mum and Dad puffin were off fishing and these two were shrieking to be fed.

My sister has a caravan at Flamborough and they visit Bempton regularly, I imagine it's a very busy time up there at the moment!
Apart from the fuzzy one the others are very good, though. Very nice..

Oh God - I'd love to see a puffin - to be up close, just love them .............make me happy to see them on film, I'd be delirious close up

I like these pictures, even the fuzzy one. We have sea gulls by the 1000"s but I have no idea where they nest.

Cant see the photos but glad you tried the art of Digiscoping, it can give impressive results, and its what i do myself since both my cameras have died.
