Happy Friday Folk.

Taken a couple of days ago at Stanwick lakes.
Our son is off to Florence for a week starting today so we're sharing the looking after their cats and watering their plant pots with his neighbour. It's an 18 mile round trip to his house but it's in a lovely spot so we may spend a bit of time there.

Good morning folks, overcast here with spots of rain but I don't think it will amount to much.

Food shopping at Tesco first thing then I will finish painting the gates if the weather allows.

I have only ever seen one woodpecker Alan, and that was many years ago. They are a lovely bird aren't they.

There are two bird hides which we visit where woodpeckers regularly frequent and stay awhile. They are colourful birds.

Good morning all. Great pic Alan! I've tried to take a pic of a woodpecker who visits my partner's bird station each day but have failed miserably!

Yes we used to have a pair of green woodpeckers out on the green in the trees but haven't seen them for years. Great shame.

Friday again doesn't it come around quickly nowadays.
Hope everyone has a nice day. Going out today for
half a day. Looking forward to next week watching the
tennis at Wimbledon and the fact they have said we
are (fingers crossed) going to get a mini heat wave with
up to 30 degrees hows that. Yes about time lol.
A year ago I went to Blackpool for a few days at the end
of June and it was gorgeous and hot then. So glad it
duplicated itself. Take care all.

Good morning all sunny and warm here ...

My husband has just returned from his GP appointment, his tests from two weeks ago have shown improvement and the doctor has increased the strength of one of his tablets further.

We are off into town shortly to collect out new specs - 4 pairs between us!

Good morning all. A child free day for me today as Josh has gone on his holidays for a few days. I can't remember the last time I had a free Friday! Think I'll see what classes are on at the leisure centre and go to one.
