Nakes cyclists
A bit from the paper:" Around 250 cyclists took their clothes off for the ninth annual Naked Bike Ride to promote road safety in Manchester city centre."
Why?
Not only would I have to burn the saddle before I used one of their bikes afterwards, (
) but what on earth has a load of nudes got to do with road safety??If anything, I should think many drivers would swerve OFF the road, coming round a corner and being confronted by that lot!

High time there was a compulsory road safety test for cylists imo. Far too many half wits out there in the traffic without a clue about the highway code or raod safety..

A few years ago on a Saturday afternoon I saw a group of naked cyclists riding in the Charing Cross Road. The Japanese tourists were busily photographing them on their mobiles. This group was protesting against pollution caused by cars. It was an official protest. They were accompanied by a uniformed policeman on a bike – in uniform of course although his trousers were short.
