Do you still have ?

I have a pressure cooker and the original kenwood mixer in my cupboards. I've not used either for 14 years , yet if I was to get them out they would work. Kenwood mixer is 30 years old and pressure cooker the same. I used to make real bread in the kenwood with the dough hook, 6 loaves at a time . Wonderful .

I wouldn't be without my pressure cooker. I use it for boiling gammon joints and stewing steak. All comes out so tender and far less time.

I have an old Burco boiler in my shed. Had it since I got married in 1955 . I don't used it but it still works.

I still have my pressure cooker, no idea how old it is but I wouldn't be without it. It's fairly recently been joined by a slow cooker although that's maybe 20 years old now, how time flies.

Re: Do you still have ?

I am not keen on pressure cookers, in my kennel days we used a large one to cook sheeps heads to a pulp before putting them through a mincer to feed to puppies. This quite put me off them .
Also my stepmother who was a terrible cook used one and everything came out tasting the same

Re: Do you still have ?

We still have the Kenwood Chef that I bought Dianne in 1973 and the set of saucepans and Viners cutlery that we got as a wedding presents (also 1973). We also have one remaining piece of 'Pyrex' (genuine JAJ) that we got with 'Green Shield stamps' (remember them) in the 1970's.

We still have a pressure cooker, we often use it for cooking ham shanks for pea soup.

Re: Do you still have ?

I've never had a pressure cooker or a food mixer, never thought of buying one either, Cakes are always made by hand and my cooking is always done either in the over, on the hob or in the steamer.
