Mr Clumsy to the rescue

This morning a neighbour asked for some help. Another neighbour, who is often away, had a kitten stuck in his car engine. He had even driven his car not knowing the kitten was there until he got home again and head it screaming.
He got the car bonnet up and the kitten immediately went lower down in the engine and he couldn't reach it. Mr Clumsy told him to get his jack, stupid neighbour asked what for ! Mr Clumsy told him to jack the car up and then he could get underneath, which he did and managed to get the kitten. Poor little thing, it was only about 8 weeks old, it's eyes looked very poorly and it wasn't looking good at all. Another neighbour made it comfortable in a box and off to the vet he went with it. Maria, the vet, felt so sorry for the poor little thing that she said she would treat it and keep it herself as after it's ordeal it deserved a loving home.
Nobody knows where the kitten came from, we don't really get feral cats around here and we can only think the kitten got in the engine somehow when the man was parked where there are ferals. One lucky kitten to have survived being in the engine of a moving car, Maria was confident it would make a full recovery.

Ah ... that's your good deed for the day ... week, month, year Mr Clumsy. Well done.

Got to say you were pretty quick on with your idea of the jack. A bit of quick thinking that.
