Toe-post sandals

I've never been able to wear them
They hurt between my big toe and the next one and they hurt across the top of my foot, where the strap goes, as if there is a bruise (this lasts - not just when I am walking in them)

Am I doing something wrong, or am I just not designed for toe-posts?

Re: Toe-post sandals

I never used to be able to wear toe-post sandals either, DM, they used to make my feet very sore between the big toe and the next.

Then I discovered Scholl flip flop strips - they are invisible gel strips which you fix around the toe post itself. They cost about £2, I bought mine in Sainsbury's but I know Debenhams also sell them and I suspect Boots also.

Thanks Mags - I never knew about those but I suppose I should have thought of Scholl .. the remedy for All Things Feet
I'll get some and give them a go

Re: Toe-post sandals

I think we would be surprised at how many people do have problems with toe posts

Azz could start a toe-post forum.....bet that would be a first!

DM, I too have never been able to wear toe post sandals, the pain is just excruciating. I have now given up trying.

I'm not a fan of 'flip flops' - they hurt me too

Me too I can't stand the thought of them ( I must admit I have never tried them) I work for Boots the Chemist and we do a roaring trade via the internet on Fitflops they are expensive but people rave over them...
