I'm not a football fan but most of my family are. I don't think the resignation will make a jot of difference, the whole FIFA setup is rotten to the core, all great buddies covering each others backs, fair play to the USA for attempting to untangle this web of crooks.

Blatter and his bandit cronies have almost destroyed the trust in FIFA. I just hope before they go to prison their ill gotten gains are stripped from them and returned to the beautiful game. Sadly this is unlikely to happen and they will just be allowed to slip quietly out of the public eye, with their filthy lucre intact. Makes me want to spit.
