When I passed my test OH asked what car Id like to have... I said a mini because thats where we met , in his old mini..A few days later he came home and dropped the mini brochure on the table. He said ring the garage and let them know what colour you want..
Yep my very first car was brand new ...Since then Ive driven all sorts of old sheds but no one can take that moment away from me ..When I walked out of the showroom with the keys in my hand as the proud owner of a brand new car!

Passed my test after in 1966 the third time around. I was an apprentice mechanic at the time but preferred motor bikes to cars. First car was a Ford Anglia. A great little car. I saw one the other week for sale all renovated at a price of Nine thousand.|
