Re: Thawing thursday

Good morning all!
Another sparkling but freezing day; thi is the last night we are predicted for a frost, so let's hope it's got it out of its system for a while (maybe till December? - that would be good!)
Have some new furniture arriving today - hope it looks OK. It's a bit of a worry isn't it? It looked fine in the showroom - will it be OK in my house?

Re: Thawing thursday

We have a bright sparkle to this morning. Looks very white and icy out there.

No what you mean about the showroom. Years ago we bought a pink yes pink leather three piece suite boy it did not look good out of the showroom.

Re: Thawing thursday

Freezing cold here even though the sun is shining and we have another frost forecast for tonight.

Nothing exciting happening here, except a visit to the hairdresser earlier.

Stay warm and safe everyone!

Re: Thawing thursday

Same old, same old; trapped indoors again by the latest blizzard! This has broken all records for the snowiest Winter on record. At least the sun is shining today and it's warming up a bit: -2 (29 F). It's melting a little. I have icicles longer than my arm hanging from the eaves; can't get outside to take a proper picture. No mail, papers or buses, and of course no grocery delivery. When will it end?

Re: Thawing thursday

The BBC forecast doesn't give you any positive temperatures for the next 5 days and nights DM
However, it does give some sun and no further falls .....
