I felt guilty yesterday on my day trip ,the lady sitting next to me on the Coach ,wanted to have a coffee and go round the Museum with me when we arrived But I said no i like to go round at my own pace ..
I'm glad I went a lone cause she went down the Mine and on the Canal ,both of which I didn't want to do .

Perhaps not so much as a guilty conscience, more a regret.

I'd never have left my Mum on her own had I realised she was going to die that night. I wish I'd have stayed with her.

The same happened to me Mups, don't beat yourself up about it, they wait until we leave so they can leave, our love for them holds them past their time ...

I agree, I too have lots of regrets but I don't suffer from a guilty conscience

I wouldn’t say that I have a guilty conscience but I do cringe with embarrassment when recalling some of things that I have done in my time.

Me too and neither am I telling. Mind I can be a slave to my guilty conscience at times too.
