School Reunions
Have any members attended a school reunion ? I moved away when still a teenager so lost contact with everyone.Did try to look up folks on Friends reunited without success, and since then only met one former schoolmate.
Prompted by a photo of Elton John with former classmates.

I have in past years bumped into people, who obviously recognised me but I didn't have a clue who they were until they told me they were at school with me. I have one long time school friend who I am still close to but no I haven't, nor would I want to, attend any school reunion.

No. Only one schoolfriend contacted me and I know what happened to a couple of others. Many of them have moved to far corners of the world and pursued widely varying careers. Two of them were rock musicians (one is now a folk singer on the US / Canadian and the other is a Real estate agent in Nevada). Others have more 'ordinary' jobs - from a Cemetary manager to a Methodist minister.I think the days of growing up and living in the same area all your life, have long gone.
. Would love to know how they all are. I loved my college days.
'school' is a place in my nightmares and not somewhere I would wish to revisit..

They did have a reunion about fifteen years ago, I didn't go but one friend tried to keep us all together by e-mail however, a lot have already passed on. I did meet up with him one lunch time and he surprised me when he said that all the fellows in class wanted to date me but I was only interested in the lads two years a head.........sounds about right!|
